Let's talk Vegas meetups Part 3

So on the 25th...CK can use her insider IP connections to get a mixed game rolling there followed later by bowling at the Gold Coast. Anyone up for a little dinner before the mixed game?

Maybe dinner at 5 p.m., mixed game around 6-6:30, bowling 10-11? Thoughts? Who is in? Is this too much packed into one night? My thoughts are that it is harder to get several folks together on multiple occasions than on one night, but maybe it would be better to spread it out?

you know my thoughts. I'm game for whatever.

that seems like an awful lot of stuff . . . if we do the full 10-game IP rotation (we can drop games if we want), we'd probably only make it through one rotation before it's time to bowl.

You have alternative ideas CK? I'm certainly open to all suggestions. My thought it is that four hours or so of poker ought to be plenty?

It seems like I picked a bad week for meeting other bloggers. I wanted to go a week later but we're going camping July 4th weekend and I didn't want to get home and have to leave right away.

Jeremy: I think bayne and cmitch (and yours truly) will be Las Vegas when you are. Maybe a meet-up for lunch or dinner might be in order.

I'm cool with whatever, since I'm staying at the IP starting on the 25th. I might not touch down until late, though - I'm booking the plane ticket tomorrow so I'll know more then.

I think it makes sense to do either dinner / drinks / bowling and drinks or dinner / drinks / mixed games and drinks. Having one central location will likely be easier for the carless or for those whose sched is a bit up in the air.

How 'bout this: dinner at Ping Pang Pong at Gold Coast (which is quite yummy), drinks in the Gold Coast version of the Hooker Bar, then bowling at Gold Coast.

That way, people can eat if they want, they can socialize at the bar if they want and then they can go bowling and engage in silly prop bets / more drinking. Those who may be stuck at the Rio could pop over for a quick drink.

Four hours of poker, plenty??? Yikes. Maybe I am a degen.
